Corporate Philosophy
The company and its people - truly unique

“Unique, because it cuts across national boundaries and national rail regimes and enables us to be the first to bring to our European partners the advantages of American-style economies of scale and reliability.”

“It is unique too, because you deal with one operation, one point of contact empowered to move your tonnage across the continent - with no more bureaucracy in national rail offices creating problems at every frontier!”

“For our European customers the chain of responsibility is as short as it can get - one to one, start to finish, from order to delivery.”

Richard M. Painter - Group Chairman
Heavy Haul Power International

Heavy Haul Power International - firmly established

“Operations commenced in Germany in the summer of 2000
and are now expanding to Poland, the Benelux countries
and France, as these countries comply with EU legislation
or as special concessions are granted.”

“The philosophy of the company is to operate with Partners
on a long-term and transparent basis. This brochure will illustrate the significant economies of scale and productivity benefits that the General Motors’ locomotive and 4,000 tonne unit trains can bring when operated by Heavy Haul Power International.”
